So, after the October blowout, it seems Amazon Prime is wanting an encore for November. Control Ultimate Edition Dragon Age Inquisition Rise of the Tomb Raider (not sure if it's the Anniversary edition) Rogue Heroes Liberated Puzzle Agent 2 Demon Hunter 2 New Chapter BAFL - Brakes Are For Losers Secret Files: Sam Peters. They are really upping their game. I wonder how long it will last. When do those go live? Just want to bag Control mostly.

Presumably Control UE will be limited supply to be redeemed via Epic? Hopefully, as I already have the base game there.

Usually on the first day of the month.
I imagine Control and DAI will be EGS and Origin keys, like last month, but I wonder if ROTR will be on Steam. As far as I know, only the Anniversary edition is available to buy now, but since we're talking about a purchase linking, it could still be the original game (which would give Squenix a way to sell some Anniversary DLC).

Blimey, that is a decent selection. DARQ is currently free on Epic. A spooky puzzler that's very positive on Steam.

Nov games appear to be up, minus Control UE and RotTR at the moment ...
EDIT: Okay, they're all up now. Control UE is the GoG version; Tomb Raider is on Epic. I presume limited keys, so I'd claim quickly to be safe.

Control is an amazing game, so claimed that.
Shame I'd previously played it via the gamepass. Pretty sure there's no way I'll be able to import my game save from there... still it's one of the few recent games I can see myself replaying.

Yeah I'm in that boat too, played via Epic. May try to see if the Save can be copied over in some form.

I need to give Control another go. Tried it when I first got my 3090 but only played for an hour or so before forgetting to play more.
It was quite weird but I hear you basically turn into a Jedi later in the game. Made sure to claim them. Claimed it on EGS but it wasn't the ultimate edition.

They seem to be gone now. Oh wait, that's wrong. They don't show up on the app but are there when you log in to the website.

EA just confirmed that they have five more games for their Prime promotion. The next one will be NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered, and then we'll get another four in 2022.
The only problem I have with the current Amazon deluge is that most of the games have been available elsewhere. I'm starting to think that Game Pass, Amazon, etc. are basically always getting the same games on rotation, which makes them a bit redundant.

I just keep adding them to my library in the full knowledge that I'm never going to play any of them.

On the other hand, every time a game is released free on Prime or whatever that's also available on gamepass it means I'm less inclined to keep up the gamepass sub.
I was lucky enough to win a 6 month sub so I've not paid for it at all most of this year, but once that runs out I'm unsure if I'll keep it - the only thing I played on there that really stuck with me was Control. And yeah, have that now thanks to Prime.
Oh, I did post Carrion through to completion too, that was pretty neat.
But most things I've played on gamepass, I played for a couple of sessions then just never felt compelled to go back to.
I'm fairly good at not adding things to my collection purely for the sake of it. I won't always get round to playing those I do add, but if something has no interest I won't collect it for the sake of it.

Game Pass does get them sooner, usually. But since I can wait, I'd be fine enough without. The only thing I'd really miss on is the first party games.

Because I usually got 1-3 months of Gamepass at a IME (the £1 deals) I have usually pushed myself to actually complete some games while still on it (100%ing Psychonauts 2 was part of my last stint, along with finishing Iron Harvest, Wolfenstein II and a few more).
The stuff I own properly I find harder to get through for some reason.

Yeah, I've also mainly gone for those time-limited gamepass deals, and I've found them to be a bit of a double-edged sword tbh. On the one hand, it's pushed me to finish a few games, or even just try a few games when I often don't get around to playing the games I own. But on the other hand there were definitely some times where I was pushing myself to finish the game because of the deadline, rather than actually enjoying the game... which ended up being closer to work than fun.
Oh, and Aven Colony is free on Epic this week.

The best thing for game pass is to take advantage when they have the £1 deal and use the conversion trick.
instead of buying Back4Blood for £50 on steam, I spent £45 and got 2 years of GamePass Ultimate. Totally worth it at that price.

One of the best bits of BL2 DLC... Curious to see how it'll work as standalone, though. Free is free!

Yeah I really liked that dlc, it's not particularly big or clever, but neither am I. Voice actor from HAWP back in the olden days (red faction guerilla one still chuckle worthy - www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvKoBH3PA2s) (and also Aloy in HZD)

The Tiny Tina one shot is kind of weird, you get multiple skill points per level, you are capped at L35 (I think), stuff from the main game drops off just random mobs, seraph crystals drop off trash (but there's only about 5 things to buy with them), it's just a mish mash of everything. I can't see the point of paying money for it on other formats, just get the Handsome Collection instead. I'll take it for free on Epic though.

Especially as they gave away the handsome collection last year IIRC...

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is free on Ubisoft Connect. It's been free there before I think, so you may already have it. This link is the US store, but it should ask you to redirect to your local store. Not sure what regions it's available in:
Or you could try through Ubisoft Connect if you have that installed.
