Sadly it's all their other businesses that makes them so hard to purchase, they have some amazing IP's that could be a goldmine in the right hands. It would be a complicated acquisition for sure as I believe they use some of their IP's in their Pachinko business.

It saddens me that they had these beautiful remade cutscenes for MGS3 for a fucking pachinko machine. I hope there's substance to the rumour that a MGS remake is being done by Sony but I doubt it. It's not good to hope. |

Yeah it was rumoured that Bluepoint were making it, but now the idea is that they're making a pc version of Bloodborne as well as the sequel, but I'm calling BULLSHIT on all of it. Again, hope is bad.

1st impressions here. Sounds like it's been dragged up to a respectable level, but still very bare bones. Will give it a whirl in a bit but not expecting much.

I went to the dark side and bought fifa 22 the other week, mainly as my mates are getting it now they have a ps5 so we can play online.
It’s not actually too bad, better than previous ones I’ve played. It still doesn’t play as well as PES did though.
If they can improve the gameplay on this to a decent level and release a decent master league, I’ll be happy.

Crikey, it's now actually a functioning football game. I don't think it plays as well as PES21 but it's not bad. Servers are still offline. If this had been what they released back when, it night have stood a chance.

Seems a bit sluggish, but definitely better. Red card for Gabriel in my first match, so quite a realistic start, but then a goal for Lacazette ruined it.

Been playing the new FIFA as it was free and this game is still a shit state. Its actually not bad and has a lot of QoL improvements compared to pes(fast menus mainly).
The commentary is awful(Fernandej gets me everytime) but the games are actually pretty decent. Doesn't feel as scripted either.
Been playing FUT and packed Bruno, Pogba and Mbappe in the free ps plus which was pretty incredible. Online is decent with no obvious exploits being used.

Graphics are a let down though. I haven't really been impressed with graphics in a footy game for ages.

I think it depends on the time of day a lot. Sometimes it looks pretty nice while other times it'll have an inexplicably low res shadow right across the middle of the pitch.

It's more the pitch always looks like a Subuteo carpet, there's no texture to it. Far too smoothe.

Looks shit for a PS5 game and the UI is abysmal but it's not bad to knock on for a couple of games.
Still got no idea how people get tens of hours a week all season out of it though.

I'm fairly sure Konami have 6 people in a shed somewhere in Nagasaki working on efootball so I'd be very surprised if they suddenly decide to pay for a franchise that EA felt was too expensive.

It's about as likely as United winning the league next year. It's a pretty huge license for someone to pick up though, almost guaranteed success off the name alone.
