Got a screenshot of the non opening flower? I might be able to check if there's somewhere specific you're supposed to stand or something.
For the shrine, I guess you could try contacting the devs. I've not come across either of these bugs though and a quick Google isn't showing much either.

Yeah, not a bug. There's a flower you have to hit before you can hit that one. I'll spoiler it just in case you want to find it yourself  Right where that clip starts, look left and up a bit. There's one there, hit that one first, then you can hit the one you're aiming for. It's just about getting the right order and stringing them correctly. A few flowers are like that. You're on PS5? Surprised you're finding it buggy. I honestly had no issues through multiple playthroughs. |

So yeah, I was being a muppet, worked fine going left first.
I'm now on the 3rd of the mountain paths and ended up dropping difficulty to easy for 2 bosses, corrupt Woodsmith was an utter bastard, quite easy in story mode but for me, impossible on medium. I'll quietly be glad to finish it.

Took me an embarrassing amount of time to realise you just have to tap l1 to parry rather than hold it at the last second.
Bosses are a bit easier now.

Decided to pull my finger out and start powering through this. Still relatively early on though (Forbidden Forest).
I’m enjoying it so far, but I’m not a massive fan of the combat. It’s ok, but I really don’t fancy get stuck on bosses, so I may just lower the difficulty. It’s a fun game but not one I really want to get stuck on.
On the combat, and I’m probably being stupid here, is there a way to lock on? I get a bit frustrated with the camera sometimes and lose track of the enemies.

Lock on is definitely there, R3? I didn’t use it much, it disengages on dodges and stuff in boss fights and has to be enabled again and again.

I can’t find the last few rot and hats in a few places. I’ve scoured the areas multiple times now and nada.
You’d think, this being a PS5 game, the new help system would be perfect for this, but it contains nothing useful. Unless I don’t know how to use it.

Bloody hard...been stuck on the Corrupt Woodsmith fight for ages now.
Watching YT vids of people taking no damage from bosses on Master just makes it more frustrating.

People are gud.
I did manage do to Corrupt Toshi on Expert almost without getting hit, since any hit was a straight road to get died, the only boss I really learned the move set by heart. I'm sort of curious how he'd be on Master.

RobEG The parry is actually quite tricky. It does help a lot but you don't need to master it. Just dodging or blocking can get you far. dominalien If you manage to get past the first couple of bosses on Master, I reckon you'll be OK by the end of it. It's is a step up from expert but it's still about learning the patterns

Ok I'll try again. I thought last time I used it the enemy attack went straight through it. Not sure if it needs to be upgraded to be fully effective though
