I'm not playing it as much these days, but I feel like I got my money's worth. Completed the map and unlocked all the secrets, just need to get the top position on a few races and best time on the time trials to get the Unleashed trophy. I've also spent a few fun evenings in the multiplayer.
I maintain that the core driving, handling and drifting in the game is very, very slick- much better than you might expect from an arcade toy game. Drifting around a corner and then timing the boost perfectly out of it never gets old. But yeah, it does feel a bit like there's not much more to do once you've filled the map, unless you really like grinding the multiplayer to get coins to spend on blind boxes (which will be a disappointment 95% of the time). It could have a lot more mileage (ha ha) if they did some curation of the player-created tracks in multiplayer. Some of them are brilliant, just as good and epic as the ones in the main game, but there's quite a few duds too, and you sometimes get a lobby full of people just picking the obviously shortest one to get a few coins.
Is anyone else still playing it, and just not posting, or am I the only one left??

I'm still working my way through it - I don't game much these days, so this is perfect to pick up for 20 mins here and there. It is unforgiving at times but agree re handling. It's really good. There won't be much to do once the map is complete but that's fine. For the cost, it's definitely good value.

Probably too late for most of the early adopters / abandoners here, but the latest patch includes fixes for quite a few of the most common gripes, including: - AI difficulty rebalanced - 7 cars in the shop rather than 5, and it resets after 1.5 in game hours rather than 3 - Focus stays on the Open Blind Box button rather than changing to the Buy button after you open one - Fewer "hold to confirm" buttons where they're not needed My personal bugbear was the pitch of the music shifting every time you boost- couldn't stand it- and now it's only done on boost pads. hotwheelsunleashed.com/game-updates(No new content though, and multiplayer still a ridiculous AFK shambles) |

The update doesn't mention a Switch update but also points out the graphics update isn't applicable to the Switch. I'll put it on and see if there is an update, the bit about making it easier if you fall off the track sounds like a welcome change.
Is anyone else getting randomly knocked off the track with the small ramps. It's happened to me far too often that it's almost like RNG whether I'll win a race or not based on whether I'm lucky enough to hit the small ramps right.

cubby do you mean the transition from the actual ground to a track piece? I find hitting them dead centre with no boost works most of the time- but yes, if you're mid-boost it's anyone's guess whether you'll land on the track or off it.

There's a battle pass now! Well, "racing season" anyway. The cars and trinkets on it require you to pay, but all of the coins and gears are free. And it seems quite generous- one coin reward is 3500 coins, or enough for 7 loot boxes. I made over 7000 coins doing 3 races just now. If you want to finish your collection or upgrade it to Legendary, now's a good time to do it apparently. No new tracks though  |

Finished the boss races the other day but still have a few races to complete. I will mostly carry on playing it to try and get the (what I think was) Aston Martin which kicked my Arse a few times.

On Steam this is approximately £8 for me at the moment, you'd guys would recommend would you? I can't shake the trackmania vibes from this one and I love that series.

Really hope they allow you to play with friends and other people online at the same time.
Just not the same when there's only two or three of you on these massive tracks.

Is this good in split screen on the Switch? In my region (not UK sorry!) it's dirt cheap right now, but it'd only be worth getting if I can play couch multiplayer with the kids.
