I struggle with 2 on my legendary Koenigsegg. Especially on that track with the 3 consecutive loops. Always have to sacrifice my speed on one of them.

I have the Blade but I don't like it much.
A couple of things are really starting to grate the more I play. Mostly the fucking awful UI requiring a hold button to confirm almost everything. There's just no need for it when a button press would be fine and is used in every other game. Secondly, the fucking garbage spiders on the tracks that fire split second targeting webs that fuck up my perfect TTs at random.

Veer hard left and hug the wall on the spiders derbs and they will always completely miss the track. Agree they are garbage but that's been a surefire way of avoiding them for me.

Yeah, both sides tend to work but some of their placement after corners make it very difficult, and the thing that winds me up is when I seemingly get past them and then suddenly get hit when I think I'm safe. Always on the perfect laps.

Their aiming is absolutely fucking ridiculous. You've basically got no chance of keeping your line, the only thing that works is a last minute sharp diagonal move that more often than not scrubs your speed.
It doesn't help that often there are about 3-4 webs on the floor already so you're almost resigned to using the 1 gap there is left and getting hit. It's daft.

A confirmation dialog box for those 2 things and short presses for everything else would be ideal. |

I was wondering about the RD-02 - I'd assumed that cars that begin as common aren't as good as the ones that are rare or legendary, even fully upgraded? But the RD-02 seemed competitive even as a common, so worth spending some gears getting it to rare at least.

I tried some split-screen with Kid 1 yesterday. It was great fun, definitely added to our gaming rotation. I'm not thrilled by having to unlock a lot of the tracks with coins though- you get 3 in each area for free, but then have to pay 300 coins each for another six for each area. That's a hell of a lot of grinding to unlock everything! Follow up on this- it's also crappy that the second player in splitscreen doesn't earn coins or gears for their own profile. Generally it's a great game but in need of a few patches for annoying stuff like that, and like the button presses |

The first boss. Try as I might I haven't nailed that vertical transition. I can flip but I always end up facing the wrong way. Any advice? Getting 2nd place consistantly but nailing that bit might clinch it. |

Left and right should give you a barrel roll. Just hit the ramp center going straight ahead. Wait for it to settle. Roll it flat. Sorted.

You should just be able to barrel roll it by pushing left or right on the RS

Left stick should be to flip forward or backwards, right stick should be be for barrel roll.

Yeah maybe look at the control config or something. You should be doing a barrel roll for every big jump anyway, drives the chicks crazy.

Silly question, but what does colour banding on the toy packets (in the limited time store) denote? Is that how you tell rarity, legendary etc?
Also, I have 24 Ours available atm: worth spunking my coin on that or wait for a reset for something amazing? I've had absolutely fuck all from boxes lol

I think it's actually better for some races - I beat the scorpion boss with it after failing with the blade, an extra boost made a difference. |
