I mostly enjoyed it, but I think my biggest problem is the time jumping narrative structure. It adds nothing, and ends up drawing the whole bloody thing on way too long. Unless it serves some purpose, just make a decent linear story please.

I feel the need, the need for people to rank Disney+ star wars shows
I'm assuming Boba Feet is #1

Catching up with series. In episode 4 of Ahsoka, rather enjoying it! Better than Mando and Obi wan anyway.

At first glance it looks like America then you realise it's not, guess it starts on one of the Core Worlds that's actually quite nice and then gets a bit dirty. Star Wars does The Goonies (hopefully better because I've never been a fan).

I was 15 when The Goonies came out, if I'd been about 8 or had a serious brain injury maybe I would have enjoyed it but I wasn't and I didn't so I saw it for what it was and still is, a badly written, badly acted, shitefest.

Goonies is fine, it's not as good as most people my generation think it is, but definitely when I was a kid I lapped it up.
My kids bounced off it, but then they didn't like Roger Rabbit so what the fuck do they know.

Goonies is a proper buddy movie for outgoing kids pre device addictions.
Sadly can’t imagine that many kids would relate to the vibe now.
Great film for the times; good film still…

I'm not allowed to mention them, but certain age-challenged people with whom I'm acquainted thought Goonies was fun, even in this day and age.

Because someone else is playing him? Because there’s just no place/need for him to be in it?

I seem to be far behind, but when did they let that gobshite (Jude Law) in Star Wars?

Just after they let him in the MCU and Potterverse.

I would have watched a second season. It was nice being able to just jump into something without needing to see a ton of content that preceded it in order to understand who and why.
I avoided all the shit posting from those corners and just watched the whole thing in a day and thought it was as good as anything else they’ve put out (Andor excepted).

I watched this and it wasn't perfect by any stretch, but my god star war fans really are the worst.

Don't spend $180 million on about 5 hours of TV unless you're creating something incredible. It had enough material for a TV movie not random length episodes that were poorly constructed by people who don't know how to make TV shows.
The fans aren't to blame for Disney incompetence.

I can acknowledge that and still say they're some of the worst fans going.

Thing is though, this sort of hate gets whipped up by passionate fans, such as Red Letter Media. They gave a lot exposure to how bad it was. They're obviously entitled to their opinions, but yeah, I think they perhaps get a little overboard at times, but that gets them the clicks.
The Disney execs are definitely the ones to blame... again.

I'm not sure that's entirely the reason that it was shit on though. Most people that watch anything on TV couldn't articulate your criticism of it, and it absolutely wasn't the reason it was review bombed, etc.
