Factory Floor? Yeah as above you take three out one after another by suprise attacks.
You can back track or sprint to take out a fourth and potentially fith as well.

I caved. I bought it. I love it.
The first level alone is almost worth the price of entry.
Made it to the 2nd level boss at 35 and beat him. Unfortunately I left with a free bus pass and my pension in drawdown.

Got to the last stage at 48. I can easily get myself younger for this part. The end is in sight!

Managed to get the artist down at age 21. Will definitely have her down with no lives lost by the weekend.
Tower will be tough though to get through unscathed.

Just revisited Squats to clear the last detective queue, unbelievable how you can breeze through complete levels dodging and parrying without taking a scratch.
My 2 favourite games on the Ps5 have been Returnal and SIFU. Awesome games.

Yeah, this is almost certainly going to be on my GOTY list, assuming it doesn't collapse in the last two missions. Utterly superb. Got the Squats down at 20, now; thanks for the tips on taking out three of the enemies in the drug den prior to starting the brawl Got Sean down at 26 now, too. But I totally fucked up and lost two stupid lives at the end, so that can definitely be improved. Museum seems cool, so far.

I am bad at this, made it to the museum somewhere in my 30s, but this is just utterly great. A yardstick for melee combat in games from now on. So slick.
Some of the best use of haptic feedback and controller sound on the PS5 so far as well.

First museum run through before you unlock the shortcut is an absolute bastard but a lot of fun. Iām starting the last level at age 25 but my getting my ass handed to me by Yang. Determined to learn his moves but canāt figure out whether itās best to parry or dodge.

Thatās insane.
Iāve defeated Yang this morning.
Going to mop up trophies and then start to work on speed through the levels.
22 minutes is insane though, I can see how level 1 and 3 can be over in minutes. But 4 in particular has a long run into the boss even with the shortcut.

It took me loads of tries to even get to the museum, but then got all they way to the boss on the first go. Must have been in the zone. Got my 60 odd year old arse kicked straight away of course, but having the shortcut straight away is a godsend! Need hours of practice on the Artist now

Yeah I just got her down myself, despite many pointless deaths. Any good indicator/sound for the block window on her charge in P2? Thought the first phase was way more tricky than the second (thanks weapon catch), but could not get a consistent read on that particular attack.
Level was amazing, btw.

Got the Artist down at 23, which I'm probably happy enough with to push on into the Tower. Keep going back to the Club, though. Can pretty much do Sean without losing a life but I always seem to fuck up at least once/twice on the run to him, *grumble*.

Yang down at last. Bit of a war of attrition, but he's really susceptible to parries, so taking the staff in helped a lot. Think I was in the early 40s by the time I got him, though, so it's going to be a bitch trying to get him at 20 (or at least sub-25 for the achievement).
Going to mop up the remaining detective stuff now. Got all other levels down without losing a life, as well. Feels crazy going back to the early ones and absolutely destroying them now lol
Genuinely my favourite game this year (only Feb) by a country mile. Nothing else like it really. Superb all round.

Iām one fight off getting the ātrueā ending.
5 trophies left to get.
I canāt decide whether this or Returnal is my game of the generation.
Itās damn close though.

Are you going to do the true ending? Yeah might do with a new play through. It's just ... parrying to break structure on all the bosses, yeah?

Yang down and game complete at age 23. Prodigal trophy unlocked. Iām up to starting Sanctuary at age 20 so I definitely think a no death run is doable.
Iāve spared everyone but Yang as well now, still need to up my parrying game to break his structure quicker without taking so much health off him. Fucker.

This has me well and truly by the short and curlies.
Every time I think I've seen more or less all it has to offer and it's just the grind left, it shows something more, some deeper and more genius aspect of its level and game design that I previously hadn't glimpsed.
Just an unbelievably good game, made by people who know and love kung fu movies, with so much French flair and artistic visual and sound design.
I've got Sean down with no deaths, and starting The Tower age 34 and Sanctuary age 76. So close yet so far š

I just found an extra hidden move you can learn. At the Museum, go to the 3rd floor where the mini boss lady with the long staff is on the balcony walkway. Beat her ass like OJ, then stand in front of the exhibit stand she was looking at and look at the African mask thing on the stand. An X prompt will appear and if you click it will make The Mighty Carlton special move available in your moveset for unlocking and learning. And you get a trophy.

Yang down. Just working through trying to spare each boss now and tick off any remaining trophies.
What a game. The first 3 levels are up there as some of the best 3 levels in anything. So well designed and so much fun to play.
Comfortably one of the best games I've played in years.

I've (maybe rather rashly) bought some new PS5 stick grips as I'm struggling with no grip once my hands get sweaty during boss fights.
Kidding myself they will make me 'better' at this.

A(nother) weird question from yours truly: has anyone tried remapping the controls for this game to make them more Souls-esque? If so, how well (or otherwise!) did it work?
Just to be clear, I'm thinking along the lines of Circle to dodge, R1 for light attacks, R2 for heavy attacks, L1 to deflect/parry, Triangle to interact, and so on.
I know some of the moves require two buttons to be pressed at once, so maybe that'd be a problem with what I'm proposing.

Finished this last week- really excellent game, such a tight focus on doing a few things very very well. I didn't particularly like the 'true' ending but the rest of it more than made up for it.
Favourite level has to be the museum- easily the best depiction of an art gallery I've seen in a game, and probably the best depiction of a real space I've ever seen in a game, even with all the magical bits.
