I've accidentally completed the Coral Snakes bandits quest without having to kill anyone. I spotted a light halfway up a cliff, and managed to get up there by spamming the thief's spinning jump, which took me in the back door of their camp and triggered (reading a guide after the event) the final cutscene. Oops.
Edit: level 32 I think.

Just hit level 30 and max ranked my Mystic Spearhand and Sorceror for my Pawn. I do need a few more disc points to unlock the last couple of abilities and I haven’t got the Maister scroll for either of these vocations yet… I think I’ll stick with them for a bit.
I’ve properly arrived in Bakbattahl now which has given me a plethora of new quests, so I think some time exploring the local area is in order. I did the thieves quest with Joey Essex (Hugo?) but am not entirely sure I’m on the right side in just killing all the bandits… the soldiers don’t exactly exude friendship… we’ll see.
I do need to earn some more cash though… I’m back to being torn between buying new gear or hoping I’ll find something better for free in the wilds.
Oh yes, Billy continues to be a good companion and has helped point out a few chests and quest objectives, which is nice.
I decided I needed a Mage back in my team and seem to have found someone whose Pawn is basically the Bearded Lady from The Greatest Showman, voice and all. It’s quite surreal.
Marvellous game.

46 but still working on most vocations. Currently on Warrior and I dunno if I like it or not, seems really durable but really underpowered on damage?
My tip-top-tip for today: make your main pawn a thief and grab the pilfer skill. Buffo is now nicking all sorts of good stuff including wakestone shards, rare ores, fine roberants and such, plus the other good thief stuff like ripping harpies out of the air, executing any small mobs in nanoseconds and tearing chunks out of downed big boys. Leave the mage work to your chumps.

I somehow managed to miss both the Sphinx *and* the Medusa during my playthrough, even though I did quite a lot of free-roam exploration!

I think I must have got close to the Medusa but that was the long winding path after I lost two pawns. I'll go back at some point.

In Battahl, I followed a long winding path that led to a griffin nest and an acid dragon in a ruined castle (it was great). There were petrified statues all along the path so I was expecting to find a medusa, but didn't see it.

In other news I found the other way to get to the volcanic island. That's a long ass cave! Good fun though. Annoyingly I left my portcrystal near the point of no return, and NOT near the village like I should have. Annoying as I wanted to nip back and buy the armour I had my eye on now I've got enough money. It's a bit of a perilous trek from my portcrystal but I think I don't have any other choice.
Also, need to find second sphinx location.

I thought twice about it, then yolo'd it. One pawn disappeared, so didn't make it i guess. No revive so petrified i assume. I was busy not getting turned to stone, so didn't see sadly. |

It was on that path in a cave on the right quite hidden with two wooden posts crossed over each other. I did it last night, couldn't chop her head off, went further up the path where harpies that seem to have infinite health kept picking up my pawns and dropping them off the cliff, them got to the top, fought the dragon with some help from Sigurd got a new skill from him, my rented pawn kept disobeying me straight after so threw her off the top. All in an average night really. |

Currently, very slowly creeping towards the volcanic island to deliver a letter, but it's all new, so got loads to explore.
Should have taken a portcrystal! D'oh.

I found Sigurd but took a wrong turn before the dragon and had to loop back round, at which point he'd fucked off leaving me to slay the dragon. no new skill for me I guess.
Hmm, can't remember where I left it but will check out the medusa cave.

I didn't do anything with Sigurd. I got there, had a quick chat with him and it told me I'd unlocked a new vocation. Then he fucked off flailing his arms towards whatever awaited in the dark and I politely noped the fuck back home.
