To the big bells as loud as the thunder To the little bells soft as a psalm And some say the soul of the city's The toll of the bells The bells of Notre Dame

I had my first experience of missing parts. Actually they had substituted two similar but wrong parts. So I ordered them, all very straightforward, and in the meantime found substitutes from one of the later bags, so the problem is deferred, but they’re rare so I won’t find them from my stash. I think Tiago mentioned in his review that he had the same issue.

Guys, this is one of the greatest sets I’ve ever built. A stone cold classic.

Hmm, it's OK but it's no typewriter.

Hmm, it's OK but it's no typewriter. It’s actually really similar to the typewriter in many ways - similar build, very clever bit of technics on the inside. A lot cheaper though.

If you get one, get the radio. I love the typewriter but the radio is much cheaper, pretty good value imo at under a hundred, will fit in easily on any shelf, has some lovely clever design for the mechanisms, and you can slot your phone in there and it works surprisingly well in amplifying the sound.

For some reason, no information anywhere seems to say how big the phone can be. My phone is about the size of an aircraft carrier, so I'd want to be sure that it fits.

There’s plenty of space but give me your dimensions and I’ll check.

17.1cm x 7.7cm x 0.91cm apparently. Big enough to make it almost impossible to hold in one hand.

I would never ever say phablet, because then I'd have to jump off a cliff in shame.

Not slotting that monster into anything never mind LEGO...

Is that a phone in your pocket or is your elongated muskrat pleased to see me?

In my defence, I ordered it off the internet and didn't realise quite how big it was, because all phones look the same in pictures. Plus it was by far the cheapest model available that had a decent spec.
It doesn't actually feel that big once you get used to the size. It's only when you see it next to other people's that you realise how long it is. *
