Yep, brick search is your answer to blind buying minifigs!
Personally I preferred when they were in bags for a good feel though 😅

Apologies for randonly inserting myself into this thread, but my.friend recommended Legp for my horrible anxiety. I've got three models and I feel a bit like a kid again. Which should I build first?

3 in 1 then you can built the other variations each time after you finish one of the other sets? 👍

Start with the 5+ then go up by age?

Darn it, that's two good answers. Now I don't know which one to vote for!
The 5+ set will probably only take a few minutes, so that's probably a good one to start.

I can see this being the start of a terrible addiction.
Some of the bigger sets can take ages to build, so I'm sure you'll be eyeing up something like the ornithopter next!

I have always been on the periphery of it. I would've bought the $300 Technic Peugeot Hypercar if it were more accurate to the track version (a pedantic reason, but it saved me $300). I wanted to buy the excavator, but it was out of stock, so I settled on the BMWs. Might still go get the excavator.

The Ornithopter was a bit of a pain to build. I missed something during the build and I attempted to fix it by going back, but in the end I started again.

That looks great! I still haven't built the smaller version that I bought ages ago.

I got my first 2 D&D minifigs, using the app so I know what I'm getting 😅 Thank you for this, picked up the mind flayer and the tiefling. Very useful app!

Lizard Have you finished the 5+ set yet? Yes, is the thread etiquette to post a picture? I also bought the excavator, and transferred $260 to my current account for the Jaws model.

I finally found a half box in a Smyths Toys so grabbed the mind flayer and the lady of pain (and whatever the skeleton sorceror is called) No Strahd or draconian though which were two others I considered.

I may try to finish the set. The skeleton is quite cool alright. I'm not familiar with the lady of pain, so she appeals less. The next ones I want would be the skeleton the vampire and the bard

Has anyone picked up the Deku Tree yet? I think I'm going to wait, as it's a lot of money. I already have Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City on my list for the same price

I hope they release a few more reasonably priced Zelda sets. It was put on a certain birthday pressie list, but there's no way he's getting it.

Batman Tumbler at Smyths has been ‘cheap’ for a while. I think it’s retiring.. I know I shouldn’t

I already have Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City on my list for the same price I've got it but not built yet, probably going to save it once we move house. Only just found out there's no way to swap between the two builds easily, you have to start from scratch each time. I'll just be doing the one build then.

Saw this in the Lego shop on Monday and it made me wish we had things like that back in the day:
That is exactly the kind of thing I used to try and build entirely out of rectangular bricks, with varying degrees of success.

Times are tough, I'd been looking forward to building Dom's Charger for a few years (I have a brand new set ready to build) but I really can't justify new Lego nowadays so I'm picking up a S/H set on Saturday for the bargain price of £25, I've been following it gradually get lower and lower on Marketplace for about 6 months, I'll take it apart, do a stock check and give it a bit of a clean and that can be my Christmas Lego build this year. I'll pop my unopened Dom's Charger set on Marketplace and see if I get any response. Incredibly I sold an unopened Star Wars Red Five X-Wing for about £300 a few months ago on Marketplace so I'm ever hopeful.

We had the original Lego DeLorean, I always thought it was a bit crap tbh and I knew it was as delicate as hell, then I made the fateful mistake of letting my feral sprogs play with it. So that was the end of that.

The DeLorean is on my shortlist to pick up before it’s discontinued next year.

On the subject of being discontinued, if anyone has their eye on the Ghostbusters Ecto it's going at the end of this year.
