Saw this in the Lego shop on Monday and it made me wish we had things like that back in the day:
That is exactly the kind of thing I used to try and build entirely out of rectangular bricks, with varying degrees of success.

Doctor has put me on some strong painkillers for my back. What does this have to do with Lego? Took two this afternoon, went into a deep afternoon nap and dreamt that I was in a Lego Star Wars game. Trying to escape from from the hangar on Hoth as the Imperials attack. Possibly the best dream I have ever had, and that includes the one where me and Tom Selleck got jobs playing baseball in Japan. During our first game, Godzilla attacks.

When my son broke his arm he had Ketamine while they reset it. Apparently the room and all the people turned into Lego, not Minifigs but completely made out of small bricks. He still talks about it now. Lego obviously deeply connected to humans on some base level.

I was a mini figure, Princess Leia to be exact. Oddly, I was aware that this wasn’t me, but was having too much fun to care. It really was that nice of a dream.

Lego version of The Endurance being released on November 29th, for € 270.
It's not massively appealing to me, but Tom Crean is from not too far from me, and so I feel like I should pick it up.
