It was one of those nights. Have been doing great recently, but fucked maneater, and then went to try and open 5-2 shortcut. Fucked that too right near the end. Gave up  |

Damn you guys, making me want to play this. It’s been so long though I don’t know if I have it in me. Yeah my skills are severely lacking these days. I had Elden Ring on launch and gave up  I’ve beaten all the other souls/bloodborne. |

Elden Ring was just too big a game for me. Generally these games require too much investment from me in my ‘old’ age. Demon’s is the smallest one though…

Demons, as you fully well know by now, is definitely the easiest, quickest and has the most atmosphere out of them all, and with your experience, you know what you're doing.

I’ve done all of it apart from the last boss now. It’s definitely a lot easier for me than it used to be, beat every boss first attempt with the exception of Adjudicator who took two goes after dying immediately first time without even hitting him
Sort of just been bumbling about creating new weapons and stuff, trying to get my Sharp Uchigatana up to +5. Could not get the chunks but ended up with 7 Pure Bladestone - it took me about a month to get just one in the PS3 version
It’s been a lot of fun and I even got invaded once

Easily my most dedicated Platinum trophy (Bloodborne probably took the longest because FUCK YOU Defiled Amygdala). Farming that PB was probably an undiagnosed mental health condition. |

Just been messing about in 1-1, unlocked the first short cut. Now time to see if I can nab the CF from 4-1. My character is fat rolling, which I don’t like. Also using halberd, which I don’t really like either |

Phalanx down. Now I’m trying to remember whether I want to kill myself in the nexus. I think if I die human it shifts WT towards black iirc. So if I want that side gate open I should be careful.
Also I think WT used to reset to neutral when you reloaded. Hoping they changed this for the remake!

Nah it doesn’t reset. If you kill the bosses in a world and just suicide in the Nexus in between you’ll end up at pure White, even if you do it over several days
They key is to never die out there in the field whilst human, makes it much harder to get PWWT
Got all the white world stuff this play through but I’ve only turned a couple of worlds pure black to get some colourless demons souls

Is the red dragon the one in 1-2 then? I don’t even have a bow or any spells at this point. For my character I should really head to 5-1 I think. But that’s never fun.
Or do I need to unlock the blacksmith in 2-1? It’s been so long….

Yeah red dragon is 1-2. 2-1 is good to do with plenty of materials to collect
However if you try and do some of 4-1 first you can collect lots of souls plus the Crescent Falchion. Also there is a compound long bow near the archer which, if you make it sticky with spiderstone from 2-1, is as good a bow as you can get in the game

For 5-x levels you need a load of lotuses plus regenerator ring to save your grasses. It’s just too much of a grind early on, I flew through it in a few minutes by leaving it until last

It’s been easy to manage I did the OG offline so did all the world tendency stuff back then too. I think you needed PlayStation plus to play in online, which I didn’t have in those days |

I'd go get the blessed mace now Rob, and then get the fuck out. It's still good at +1 for a while and it can take on the skellys in world 4, so makes the cf run a bit easier.
Later on you can buy standard faintstone for 10k each. Obviously it'd be good if you could get it to +2. Have a look and see how many stones you need.
I'd have a quick look at a map of 5 1 too, because while it's not that far to get the mace, you can easily go the wrong way and fuck it all up
