Sticky = Dex, got it. Don’t need that.
Think I’ll just go standard path for my bow.
Can’t remember my stats, but I can use the mace. Think I’ll focus on END for the next few levels. Probably need a bit of INT thrown in for MP too

Although a quick google suggests a lava bow might be an interesting option.

It's a great bow and relatively easy to obtain. Obviously need to kill flamelurker but that's about it really apart from whichever boss soul it is but it won't be as difficult as flamelurker anyway.
It has knockback too, which is pretty useful. It used to be annoying with its knockback when you tried to cheese maneasters in the og, but you can't cheese them in the remake now anyway, so, shrug, fuck it, might as well use it. White sticky bow is still better for damage but ffs, not by that much and we're not exactly min/maxing here are we

If you're stuck, there's apparently multiple cheese methods for him besides kiting him around the ribcage For instance (spoilered in case you don't want to look) apparently if you wear the Thief's Ring as you enter the arena he won't aggro, and it's possible to hit him with Poison Cloud if you cast it at the right angle (don't lock on, if you even can) and let the poison tick him down |

I’d like to do a couple of bosses without cheesing. But he’s probably not a good place to start. I’ve solo’d him a few times back in my prime, not sure I’ve got it in me now though!

Magic seems to make him easier too but idk how many offensive Faith spells you have access to at this point (that aren't fire), been a fair few magic systems since Demon's  |
