So re-subbed for a couple of days now, apparently I had a level 60 astrologian and a level 51 scholar that was my ‘main’ up until Heavensward. Literally cannot remember what anything does and they’ve added gauges and all sorts. Did a run of sastasha with NPCs and then braved a jump in duty finder. Got Halatali hard. Literally remember none of that and I’m a mess and keep messing up my rotations/letting things get a bit too close to the bone.
I remember I used to do the duty finder stuff with my eyes closed!
Tho k I’m gonna level the scholar and main it agai!z fairy will make up for my ineptness!

That does seem useful. Still not sure whether to buy the pre order for ff14 dawntrail when I have ps5 starter edition - shouldn’t cause an issue, but won’t give me any he early access afaik anyway, may as well wait for release/after payday.
I’m just coming up to the end of the post-Heavensward quests I think - story started moving at a bit of a clip but it’s still glacial isn’t it! I think I am at least mostly caught up on scholar now, altho I can’t remember how to play the astrologian. There’s so much content to plough through it’s unreal!

I haven't even managed to clear A Realm Reborn yet! I bought Endwalker on sale so I reckon I'll skip new newest one for a bit as I have a load of content to get through. Hoping to level Gunbreaker at some point and get some of my crafting/gathering stuff levelled.

Still mostly just playing a few hours a week with a friend, so only play about 3 hours a week. Still quite enjoying it though, somewhere in the midst of Shadowbringers. I like the story pacing though, it's good lazy Sunday afternoon gaming

Really enjoying Dawntrail, started with my Dancer, but soon got picto up to 90 to swap mains.
Not far into it, but loving the vibrancy of it, got past the starter city and into the next zone.
I think the graphical update is nice, not a massive overhaul but stuff looks sharper with more texture. I was worried how my character would look, but it turned out fine.
I love the new features, like the 2 dye channels and the face wear, it really adds to the already extensive customisation, obviously everything hasn't been updated, but I'm sure they'll get there.
Also been pleasantly surprised by queue times, not noticed anything beyond my usual 20-30 people queue, and managed to get in straight away every time. And on my home wold too, didn't even need to use the new run off data centre. Obviously this might change on proper launch day! 😅
Also liked seeing everyone running around and seeing everyone making progress through the MSQ, never experienced it before as I was trailing everyone else by a few expansions, but it's great to see how lively the msq mainline is.
Can't wait to see more!

Just wanted to say that I'd genuinely place Emet Selch up there in the top 5 FF antagonists.
Such a magnificent snarky bastard, whose motives are, whilst being horrific, something one can empathise with, and expanded the Ascians into more interesting villains.
