Can definitely see this hitting GP at some point. Seems like the perfect title for them to get a bit of dosh from day 1 purchasers like us, then give it away and milk the DLC purchases. I'd probably buy some now if I'd got the game for free.
I take back what I said earlier about the car unlock rate being OK... They get bloody stingy after a while.

Sounds like it doesn't support smart delivery on Xbox, so make sure you pick the right version if you're buying from a key site.
Have to say I'm quite tempted to double dip for some couch play. It has its claws well and truly dug in at the moment!

Some places are selling the Xbox S/X disc version for £30, which is decent. PC price is very decent. Tempted myself because of this thread but I just started F1 2020 and Forza is coming soon |

It's the best arcade racer I can remember to be honest. Certainly in the last 2 gens. Really is just so fun to play, they've absolutely nailed the feel of it.

This feels like it’s just missing an xp bar or something, that farts out a lootbox every now and then. Chances to get them in game just feel a bit too sparse.

Yeah I've got that in my unlocks at the minute, pretty tempted. Ridiculous that it's 3 in game hours that they change rather than just 3 hours.

I don’t mind the rate of unlocks so far. Each event tells you what you’ll get so you can target the stuff to get blind boxes, and getting to them tends to net you enough coin to buy at least a few too.

Once you get past the first secret path unlock they really start to get stingy with blind boxes. Felt like they were giving plenty away before that point, then they just dry up.
Are they selling coin packs yet?...

Heh, just came here to mention that to tempt more people in. It's a better fit for a digital game though imo. Fire it up for a couple of quick races (that turns into prising yourself away from it hours later)/load it up to quickly check the store rotation.
Then again I don't play many disc games so it would probably live in the tray for a while.
