Ulythium is more passionate about this than he is about Wasps RFC
Sad but true, and also funny (although in fairness, it applies to a lot of things these days!).

Funilly enough I was just having a moan about marmite flavoured food always being a massive disappointment (unless you count twiglets of course) We've tried all sorts... Most recent was marmite flavoured hummus, which was just bad hummus with a bit of marmite mixed in. I'll still probably try that stuff if I see it on our next shop! Their marmite peanut butter is fucking godlike though (agree on the hummus, disappointing). I've not had the guts to try the marmite beer yet...

Weird... I never liked it and struggled to finish it (marmite peanut butter, not transgender sports!) I guess I'm quite picky about my peanut butter. Absolutely love the 1KG tubs of Meridian stuff with no extra ingredients and natural oil separation, so would much rather just use that with marmite.

Struggled with that, it was even more salty peanut butter. The sweet/fat/salt balance felt out of whack.

Sorry but Marmite peanut butter is great. But I generally agree that most of the Marmite spin offs are disappointing. Truth. I like it more than standard peanut butter.

Talking of brands spreading themselves thinly, Percy Pig has just branched out into every conceivable foodstuff now.

Presumably, someone took that picture as a joke but I believe the bacon rasher are vegetarian and contain as much pork as a percy pig (they no longer contain gelatin).

Percy Pig is legit tasty though. Way better than Haribo IMO.

US Biscuits are just savoury scones. Eating them at breakfast with gravy is a very odd experience.

I do wish our UK KFC would do biscuits like the UK. They go so well together. I also wish our UK KFC also had the BBQ, Spicy and extra crispy chicken but I'll pick my battles

They give you gravy. But there’s nothing to do with the gravy! You’re always left with half a pot of congealing brown.

And what annoys the most is that no matter what news outlet you go with, in the discussion surrounding transgender sports they never ONCE mention scones, biscuits, KFC…

Not to derail the Official Scone Thread, but snackplissken mentioned Marmite, and I gotta ask: has anyone tried this
?
I keep seeing it in the supermarket, and now it kind of haunts my dreams.
Do want! I have never been more sad to be half way around the world.
